Kid-Friendly Food Drive

Members 1st of NJ FCU Collects Kid-Friendly Food

Members 1st of NJ  joined together with other credit unions in southern New Jersey to collect donations of Kid-Friendly Food.  Since the school year ended and many have been affected by COVID-19, some children no longer have access to nutritious food.  To combat this problem, a kid-friendly food drive is available.

Last year, Members 1st of NJ donated Kid-Friendly food to the Community Food Bank of NJ Southern Branch.  President/CEO James Burns stated, “In our community 1 in 5 children go hungry because their family lacks the resources to purchase nutritious food.  We’re grateful to our members, staff, and volunteers that generously donated to help fill this gap.”

If you’d like to donate items, please drop them off in the boxes found in our lobbies, for a contact-less contribution. We will be collecting the following items until July 31:

  • Peanut Butter & Jelly
  • Canned Pastas
  • Canned Soups
  • Macaroni & Cheese
  • Pasta
  • Breakfast Cereals & Oatmeal
  • Pancake Mix
  • Granola Bars
