Members 1st, with area credit unions, plans an upcoming reality fair. Reality Fairs teach students how to budget money. First, we set up around 20 tables representing real life expenses. They include housing, transportation, food, etc. Then, the students visit each table with a pre-determined budget. Ideally, students will make choices keeping them within their budget, but sometimes, a little guidance is needed.
